How to register on Co-Win ? What Are Mandatory for getting Vaccine

As India is set to begin the next phase COVID-19 inoculation drive for people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities on Monday, the Central government  shared a user guide for registration and appointment for vaccination.

The registration for the vaccination on the CoWIN 2.0 portal will open at 9 am tomorrow, the government said. This link www.cowin.gov.in will direct you to the portal.

“Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the nation is prepared to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing contagion of COVID-19. The exemplary groundwork and precaution advisory by the Government has helped in containing the spread of the virus in our country,” the Centre said in the user manual.

Citizens will be able to register and book and appointment for vaccination, anytime and anywhere, using the COWIN 2.0 portal or through other IT applications such as Arogya Setu etc.

Vaccination is chargeable at pvt hospitals

Over 10,000 private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY and more than 600 hospitals empanelled under CGHS and other private hospitals empanelled under State Government’s Health Insurance Schemes will function as vaccination centres.

In this round of vaccination drive that will run for six weeks, government hospitals will give COVID-19 vaccine free of cost while beneficiaries will need to pay up to Rs 250 per dose at private facilities……..Read More>>
